Where American products are actually made
A company can be American and still sell products made somewhere else. Lodge Cast Iron casts skillets in Tennessee and sells enameled Dutch ovens made in China and Vietnam, and both sit in the same shop under the same name.
This directory records what each manufacturer says about each product, quoted in their own words, with the page and the date it was taken from. Where a maker has not said, that is what gets recorded.

Start with the category list, then the guides that take a single brand apart.
- American kitchen and cookware manufacturers. Ten manufacturers, what each one states about origin, and where the quote came from.
- American clothing manufacturers. Where the qualifier does the most work, because a garment passes through several countries.
- Where Lodge cast iron is made. Six Lodge products, four different origin labels, every one quoted from Lodge's own product page.
- Where Tervis tumblers are made. Two American flag tumblers on one site. One is made in America and one is made in China.
How origin is recorded
Claims are quoted, never summarised, and attributed to the page they came from and the date it was read. An unqualified claim and a qualified one are stored differently: Lodge says one of its American Dutch ovens is "Proudly made in the USA with imported hardware", and that qualifier is kept.
Nothing here is certified by this site. The maker makes the claim, and this directory records who said it, where, and when.
