Where Lodge cast iron is made
Lodge has been casting iron in South Pittsburg, Tennessee since 1896. The company also sells enameled cast iron made in China and Vietnam. Both sit in the same online store, under the same brand, in the same product categories.
The sentence that tells them apart is one line in a bulleted Features list, below the notes about oven temperature and handle care.

Luxe Enamel is made in China
Lodge sells two enameled lines whose names suggest a step up: Essential Enamel and Luxe Enamel. On the Luxe 6 quart Dutch oven, the Features list ends with "Made in China". On the Essential Enamel 6 quart Dutch oven, the same slot reads "Made by our trusted partners in China or Vietnam", which names two countries and settles on neither.
Lodge describes the Essential line plainly on its own blog, in a post comparing the two: "Essential Enamel is our much-loved, imported line of enameled cast iron."
Price does not separate them from the American line either. On 12 October 2026 the Luxe 6 quart Dutch oven was listed at $159.95, and the USA Enamel Dutch oven at $164.95, reduced from $249.95.
USA Enamel is the American line, and one piece in it carries a qualifier
The enameled line made in the United States is the one Lodge named USA Enamel. The 11 inch grill pan in that line states "Proudly made in the USA".
The Dutch oven in the same line says something different: "Proudly made in the USA with imported hardware". One line, two products, two different claims. A reader who learns "USA Enamel is American" and stops there will be slightly wrong about the Dutch oven, whose knob and handles came from somewhere else.
This is the reason this directory records origin against a product rather than a brand or a product line.
The seasoned and carbon steel pans are the uncomplicated ones
The classic seasoned cast iron skillet and the carbon steel skillet both carry a flat "Made in the USA", with no qualifier attached. These are the products Lodge casts at home, and the claim on them is the simplest one on the site.
Checking any Lodge product yourself
Open the product page and scroll past the price, the colour swatches and the size selector to the Features list. The origin statement is one of the bullets, in the same position on every product page, with no heading of its own and no emphasis.
That placement is ordinary retail practice rather than concealment. It is also why two Dutch ovens from the same company, sitting beside each other in a search result, can be made four thousand miles apart without anything on the listing tile saying so.
