American automotive and trailer makers
Every line below is a quote from the manufacturer, with the page it came from and the date it was read.
| Manufacturer | Origin | The maker’s own words |

| Husky LinersCompany-level claim | Made in USA, as claimed | Since 1988, we’ve proudly manufactured our premium floor liners in the United States, and for good reason. |
A company that picked the narrower word for itself
Airstream says "Assembled in the USA". Not made, not built: assembled. It is the word this site watches for, because assembled in America can mean parts from anywhere arriving here to be put together, and almost every maker who could choose the broader word does.
Airstream chose the narrow one and then named the place anyway, offering factory tours to "See production facilities in Jackson Center, Ohio". The label on this entry is the one the company's own verb supports.
Dated, plural, and silent about the resin
Husky Liners says "Since 1988, we've proudly manufactured our premium floor liners in the United States", in USA-based factories.
What it does not say is where the resin comes from, and for a moulded plastic product the polymer is most of the product. The page does not pretend otherwise, and neither does this entry.
