American home goods makers
This page is a map, not another list. Each shelf below has its own page with the quotes and the dates on it. What this page adds is the shape of each shelf: how the answers are actually distributed once you read what the makers say rather than what a badge implies.

Why the shapes differ
Kitchen and cookware is the shelf where qualifiers cluster, because cookware is steel and most American steel for cookware is not American. Tableware and pottery runs the other way: clay is heavy and local, and a pottery that fires in Ohio tends to say Ohio without reaching for a footnote.
That is not a rule, and we have not tested it. It is a pattern in what we have read so far, offered as something to check rather than something to believe.
