The ingredient is usually the honest part

Coffee and cocoa do not grow in the continental United States in any commercial quantity. A chocolate maker in Maine and a roaster in Washington are doing real American manufacturing, and the bean in both cases crossed an ocean. The good ones say so.

This is the clearest case on the site where "made in the USA" and "grown in the USA" are different questions, and where only one of them has a plausible answer.
